COMPUTEX 2013 is just about to start, but the good folks at TechPowerUp already had a close encounter with one of GIGABYTE’s AMD FM2 motherboard offering, namely the A85X G1.Sniper.

GIGABYTE A85X G1.SNIPER COMPUTEX

Bearing the G1 badge, and actually the first FM2 motherboard to receive the said treatment, the A85X G1.Sniper is a gaming oriented motherboard built for the FM2 platform, and is a surprising addition to the growing line-up of motherboards from GIGABYTE. Details are scarce, but looking at the motherboard alone reveals that it houses a discrete audio chip, has 4 DIMM slots probably supporting 64GB of RAM, and a pair of PCI-E x16 slots.  Connectivity is good too with numerous amounts of SATA ports, and back panel I/O ports.
