The headline figure from the report is AMD’s performance in the lucrative server market. The company achieved an all-time high server revenue share of 39.4%. This represents a substantial increase of 6.5 percentage points compared to the same quarter last year (Y/Y) and a 3.1 percentage point jump from the previous quarter (Q/Q). This strong growth is attributed to continued adoption of AMD EPYC processors across both cloud and enterprise customers.

The client computing segment also proved to be a major success story for AMD. Overall client revenue share, which includes desktops and mobile processors, surged to 26.5%. This marks a massive 10.2 percentage point increase year-over-year and a 2.7 point gain since the end of 2024.
Breaking down the client segment highlights even more impressive growth:
- Desktop: AMD saw its largest gains in the desktop market, with revenue share climbing to 34.4%. This is a staggering 15.2 percentage point increase from Q1 2024 and a 6.4 point increase from the prior quarter.
