Garena Philippines is hosting its first-ever Arena of Valor ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT
Four teams consisting of your favorite celebrities and personalities, such as musician and streamer Ashley Gosiengfiao, content creator and aspiring oppa, Emman Nimedez, and the #FitGamer himself, Eric “Eruption” Tai, will be competing for an PHP 80,000 prize pool, and of course, the prestigious title of AOV’s FIRST ALL-STAR CHAMPIONS!
To start the new year right with Garena’s partner and its beneficiaries, a part of the PHP 80,000 prize pool will be going to Generation Hope, a social enterprise with the goal of furthering education through the building of public school classrooms. Talk about gaming for a cause!
Arena of Valor is a 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) co-developed by Garena and Tencent – Timi Studio, the same team that developed China’s number 1 MOBA, Honour of Kings! Since its launch in the Philippines back in October 2017, AOV has consistently topped the charts in both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Aside from actively promoting and building AOV from the ground up, Garena PH is looking to establish a sustainable eSports scene, with a specific focus on ‘grassroots’ tournaments that will cater to both casual and competitive AOV players from all over the country. With this, Garena PH is counting on its AOV ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT to jumpstart its vision of a proactive and collaborative eSports scene and make it a reality!
