Graphika Manila has long been the go-to for the Philippines’ (and even its neighboring countries’) best and upcoming creatives for 15 years and counting! ASUS humbles itself to be one of the major sponsors for Graphika Manila’s 15th installment of their conference of creativity. This partnership gives ASUS a chance to highlight and demonstrate its plethora of tools aimed at creatives present during the two-day conference, from February 15 to February 16, 2020.
The ASUS booth at Graphika Manila 20/20 displayed the ProArt line-up of true-to-life color reproduction monitors, the PA90 that feature innards built for demanding creative applications, and the E500 G5 workstation with easily upgradeable components. Also present were Canon, Blackmagic Design and Edelkrone who were able to integrate their hardware with ASUS’ own.
Among the monitors displayed, the PA32UC-K was the crowd favorite as it was paired with Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve’s edit controller. The PA32UC-K features exceptional color fidelity across a wide array of color spaces used in the industry, which paves a way for color correction while breezing through the video’s timeline. Add the monitor’s 4K resolution and you have a large screen real estate that will enable multi-tasking while post-processing videos.
ASUS also presented two power packed desktops named PA90 and E500 G5 during the conference. The former sports an Intel® Core i9 processor, 16GB RAM and an Nvidia® Quadro P4000 GPU while the latter is equipped with an Intel® Xeon processor, 16GB RAM and an Nvidia® GTX 1070Ti. Both perfectly serving creatives with their CPU, GPU, and RAM hungry applications. These desktops come with different configurations to suit one’s needs.
In addition, as a continuing tradition, ASUS gave away a monitor to one lucky attendee of Graphika Manila 2020, the PB247Q. The monitor will be thoroughly utilized by the graphic designer as it features a 1080p, frameless design, and a valuable attribute for people printing their works, a color-accurate, ΔE<2, 100% sRGB panel.
