The ASUS ROG Crosshair Line Has Been Reincarnated

In a recent online event attended by OC3D, ASUS showcased their upcoming motherboards for AMD’s AM4 platform. That includes boards with the top end X370 chipset, B350, and A320 chipset. The ASUS ROG Crosshair also made a cameo, signalling the return of the company’s top dog for the AMD’s next generation platform.

The ASUS ROG Crosshair VI and in this case, the HERO – carries the aesthetics of the latest ROG motherboards with a monochromatic design. It’s hard to differentiate it over ASUS’ latest boards without that iconic PGA socket design and the Crosshair VI Hero labeling.

The ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero comes with a US 3.1 header, and support for 3D printed designs. This board is also one of the first ROG models to receive a timely update to their SupremeFX audio solution.

Of course, RGB lighting is also a part of the feature. The ASUS AURA is supported as well.

The ASUS Prime X370-PRO is a toned down flagship chipset carrier for the masses. No gaming clutter just pure functionality out of the box.

ASUS is ready to deliver a full line up of AM4 motherboards from the X370, B350, and down to the A320 chipset when AMD releases the Ryzen CPUs. It should mean that most of AMD’s AIB partners are just waiting for them to release the CPUs.

I do hope that we could get a glimpse at these boards sooner, together with the ITX offerings.
