ASUS Shows-off ROG Falcata 75% Split Gaming Keyboard

At COMPUTEX 2025, ASUS introduced the ROG Falcata, a 75% split gaming keyboard designed to offer flexibility and precision for gamers who prioritize desk space and control. The keyboard’s split design allows gamers to detach in half, freeing up room for mouse movement – more than even compact 60% keyboards typically allow.

The Falcata features ASUS’s new ROG HFX V2 Magnetic Switches, which are hot-swappable and support actuation customization from 0.1 mm to 3.5 mm in 0.01 mm increments. These pre-lubed switches are built with a polycarbonate top housing and POM plastic stem and bottom housing. A walled stem design and snap-fit mechanism help reduce key wobble and protect the internal components from dust.

At the core of the keyboard is the ROG Hall Sensor, which enhances input accuracy by minimizing electrical noise and increasing magnetic flux tolerance. This sensor works in tandem with the keyboard’s 8000 Hz polling rate and ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, which supports up to 610 hours of battery life.

The Falcata also includes a multifunction wheel and button for adjusting settings such as actuation point, Rapid Trigger sensitivity, volume, media playback, and lighting. A dedicated Rapid Trigger toggle on the top edge allows for quick switching to high-speed input modes.

Connectivity options include tri-mode support: Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB wired, allowing users to connect to up to three devices simultaneously. The keyboard also incorporates a four-layer dampening system to reduce noise and improve typing feel. Two detachable silicone wrist rests and sets of removable spacers are included to support ergonomic use across different tilt angles.

ASUS is no stranger with enthusiast-grade peripherals, as seen with their ROG Azoth gaming keyboard which was also a tradeshow favorite when it was first announced. Pricing and availability for the ROG Falcata are yet to be revealed.
