Pearl Abyss has officially revealed Atoraxxion: Orzekea, the grand finale of Black Desert’s ancient stronghold saga, alongside the launch of a brand-new season, BDAcademy. This update promises an exciting adventure for both new and seasoned players, offering engaging story-driven content and valuable seasonal rewards.
Atoraxxion: Orzekea
The conclusion of the Atoraxxion storyline arrives with Orzekea, following the perilous journeys through Vahmalkea, Sycrakea, and Yolunakea. This ancient stronghold, built to repel the Dark Invaders, will be introduced in phases.
- March 20: Players can explore Orzekea’s open-field monster zones, featuring the most challenging hunting areas to date, and embark on a questline centered around Orze, the fourth architect of Atoraxxion.
- March 27: The update culminates in an epic final boss battle, testing players’ skills and strategies.
Unlike previous Atoraxxion zones, Orzekea introduces a unique subjugation field system. Adventurers entering from the Elvia Realm will face powerful field monsters, or they can bypass these areas to confront Cathawen before reaching the ultimate boss.
Players can access Atoraxxion: Orzekea through Sol Magia in the Ancient Stone Chamber—regardless of prior completions—or via Elribta’s Door located in the gardens of each stronghold: Vaha’s, Syca’s, or Yolu’s Garden.
BDAcademy Season
Launching alongside Orzekea, the BDAcademy season runs until June 12, offering a permanent +1,000% Combat EXP boost on the seasonal server. Players who reach level 60 with a seasonal character will receive a Choose Your PEN (V) Boss Defense Gear Box and two Radiant Star Boxes filled with upgrade materials and rewards.
To ensure a smooth transition to the main server, NPC Fughar continues to assist adventurers, providing quests that grant Essence of Ascent. This resource allows players to exchange DEX (X) Tuvala gear for PEN (V) Blackstar weapons and TET (IV) Kharazad accessories. Whether you’re a newcomer or a veteran, Season: BDAcademy offers a rewarding and fast-paced progression system.
