On May 27, 2025, G.SKILL announced that CENS, representing Germany, secured the OC Champion title and a $10,000 USD prize at the OC World Cup 2025 extreme overclocking competition held at Computex 2025.
CENS won the competition after several extreme overclocking challenges. He utilized an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285K processor and an ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard, alongside liquid nitrogen cooling. This marks CENS’s second consecutive victory at the OC World Cup, following his win in 2024.
Competitors at this year’s event were required to use G.SKILL’s 24 GB DDR5 memory modules. These modules, featuring SK hynix ICs, were noted for their performance on Intel Z890 chipset platforms. CENS achieved a benchmark of DDR5-10266 CL32 with 2x 24 GB under liquid nitrogen cooling.
During the competition, rival overclocker Seby achieved a memory frequency validation of DDR5-12666, which was the highest recorded frequency.
G.SKILL acknowledged the contributions of Intel, motherboard partners, the judging panel, HWBOT, and all participants in the annual competition.
