GIGABYTE has announced an expanded strategic partnership with AMD, unveiling a comprehensive suite of hardware designed to accelerate on-device AI capabilities. The collaboration spans three core product lines: AI-driven gaming laptops, high-performance X870E motherboards, and professional-grade OLED gaming monitors.
By integrating AMD’s latest processing architecture with GIGABYTE’s proprietary cooling and tuning technologies, the two companies aim to provide a more seamless experience for gamers and creators who require high-speed local AI processing without relying on the cloud.
Next-Gen AI Laptops: Cooling Meets Intelligence
At the forefront of the announcement is the AORUS MASTER 16, a powerhouse featuring the AMD Ryzen™ 9 9955HX3D processor. Utilizing AMD’s 3D V-Cache™ technology, the laptop is designed to maintain high frame rates in competitive gaming while handling heavy creative rendering. To manage the heat generated by such high-end specs, GIGABYTE introduced the WINDFORCE Infinity EX cooling system, capable of dissipating up to 230 W of thermal power.
For everyday users, the GIGABYTE AERO X16 (a Copilot+ PC) leverages the AMD Ryzen™ AI 400 Series. This model focuses on efficiency, using a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to handle AI tasks locally. Both laptops feature GiMATE, GIGABYTE’s new AI agent that automatically optimizes power and performance settings, reducing the need for manual user tuning.
Desktop Innovation: The X3D Turbo Boost
For the PC building community, GIGABYTE debuted the X870E X3D Series motherboards. These boards are specifically engineered to maximize the potential of AMD Ryzen™ 9000 Series processors.
The standout feature is the X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, a hardware-software hybrid optimization tool. By refining the BIOS and power delivery to match the specific behavior of AMD’s 3D V-Cache, GIGABYTE claims users will see a measurable increase in gaming stability and responsiveness with minimal setup effort.
Immersive Displays with Tactical Edge
Rounding out the ecosystem are three new OLED gaming monitors: the MO27Q28GR, MO34WQC36, and MO32U24. All three models are AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro certified, ensuring tear-free gameplay through variable refresh rates (VRR).
GIGABYTE has layered its own “Tactical Features” onto these panels, including:
