GIGABYTE Releases AORUS P1600W Power Supply

GIGABYTE launches AORUS P1600W 80+ Titanium PSU, built for multi-GPU AI builds.

GIGABYTE has officially launched the AORUS P1600W 80+ Titanium Modular PCIe 5.1 AI TOP power supply, following its debut at COMPUTEX 2026. The unit targets enthusiast gaming builds and local AI systems that need high, stable power delivery.

Specs and Build

The AORUS P1600W outputs 1600 W at 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency, fitting inside a 160 mm chassis. GIGABYTE says this makes it one of the more compact 1600 W PSUs available, which should help with case compatibility and cable routing in standard ATX builds.

The PSU is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant. It uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) components for efficient power density, a digital power design for delivery control, and 100% Japanese capacitors for long-term reliability under sustained loads.

Multi-GPU and AI Workload Support

For GPU-heavy setups, the P1600W supports configurations with up to four graphics cards. It ships with two native 16-pin-to-16-pin PCIe cables and two dual-8-pin-to-16-pin PCIe cables for multi-GPU connectivity.

The PSU also integrates with GIGABYTE’s AI TOP Utility, letting users monitor power consumption in real time during AI workloads alongside other system stats.

Monitoring and Cooling

An integrated LCD Edge View display shows real-time power data directly on the unit, with customizable content available through GIGABYTE Control Center.

Cooling comes from a 140 mm double ball bearing fan with intelligent fan control, aimed at near-silent operation at low to medium loads. A dust-removal function reverses the fan on startup or on demand to help maintain airflow over time.

The PSU is fully modular with sleeved cables for easier cable management, particularly in multi-GPU builds.

GIGABYTE has not announced local pricing or availability for the AORUS P1600W in the Philippines as of this writing.
