Despite the continuous growth of technology and no matter how awesome gaming experience becomes, most people still prefer to have an active lifestyle. I’m not saying that sitting in front of your computer and play games is not cool or what, but, there are still a lot out there who prefers to go biking, mountain climbing, etc.

UNBOXING

The P1-PRO comes in a black box with a window panel that boasts the elegance of the power bank. Embossed in the window panel is the P1-PRO and its capacity in a gold text. The tagline “Power through rough conditions” pretty much says almost everything what the P1-PRO is all about.

Just like any other packaging, the backside shows the basic features of the power bank. There’s nothing really much around here.

Of course, Luxa2 completes their packaging with a quick start guide and a micro-USB to USB charging cable.

THE P1-PRO

Just by holding the P1-PRO, it really gives off this feeling where you can really count on it through the tough times. It wouldn’t care going to the extreme that you do with its awesome rubber bumper. The rubber bumper prevents the power bank from taking too much impact upon contact in case of drop. The rubber bumper may also serve as a cord keeper which keeps your cord tidy and it also sports an awesome dust flap that protects the ports of the power bank from dusts, dirts, spill of water or any liquid, etc.

The front side of the P1-PRO shows the smart LED indicators and the power button.

The backside shows some information about the power bank. There’s nothing really much here.

The P1-PRO is capable of dual charging. Meaning, it’s not just power through the rough times but it also promotes the “sharing is caring” advocacy of most people. ;) The dust flap does its job well in protecting the ports from dust and other unwanted micro things that will compromise the P1-PRO.

USER EXPERIENCE AND CONCLUSION

I really love the P1-PRO from Luxa2 since it gives me a huge amount of backup power on the go and it is capable of dual charging. The P1-PRO is not as fragile as other power banks out there as well with its rubber bumper. Get one for yourself and maybe one day, you’ll tell your bros that you survived Mt. Pulag with your P1-PRO. Who knows? ;)

The first test I did with the power bank is the input performance with USB 2.0, 3.0 and wall socket. I did the test multiple times and the results are as follows:

The P1-PRO has two types of charging devices; one 5V1A for normal charging and one 5V2.1A for fast charging. I used the P1-PRO for charging a Sony Xperia Z Ultra with 3050mAh batter and Samsung Galaxy S5 with 2800mAh battery. I charged the two using the P1-PRO multiple times and the average are as follows:

 

The P1-PRO from Luxa2 is just amazing. It’s much more simpler than any other power bank out there but I do really love using it. Sad to say, the P1-PRO is not yet available in the Philippines. However, you may get yourself one from Amazon for only $34.99.
