MSI Gaming, in partnership with Discovery, gave us a glimpse of the feature title eSports: Rise of the New King. A special program highlighting the thriving eSports ecosystem. The almost hour long program showcases the best that eSports could offer while shedding light into the technical aspect of the sport.
X570 motherboards galore
During the local event, MSI also took the opportunity to show off their latest gaming components. That includes their X570 motherboards built specifically for the AMD Ryzen 3000 Series processors.
While there are a lot of MSI X570 motherboards models showcased at the event, we only get to see Three of them during our stay. Those X570 boards are the MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi, the MEG X570 ACE and the MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi. They carry the staple X570 chipset features while adding a mix of their own medicine.
The MSI Prestige X570 Creation for example – a board mentioned at the event, features a 10GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 6 support. There’s also the M.2 XPANDER-Z GEN4 add-in card that could house dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs. This board is aimed for the gamers, creators and everything in between, encapsulating MSI Gaming’s outlook for the future of their line-up. There’s also the MSI MEG X570 Godlike which is a total beast.
An ecosystem for gamers
Through a steady launch of gaming cases and monitors, plus with an already wide selection of gears and components, MSI stressed out that this is just a glimpse of what is in store in the near future. So far, MSI already had laptops, desktops, monitors, graphics, gaming gears and of course motherboards. I’m not really sure what’s next, but I’m sure that they are looking forward to further enhance this growing ecosystem.
While MSI is not fixated on monitors alone, they are proud to announce that their brand is among the most popular in a lot of countries and of course the Philippines. That’s at least when it comes to the 144hz curved gaming monitors. I could see why their monitors are such hits having tested a few.
The MSI x Discovery partnership
With the eSports: Rise of the New King feature, MSI got the chance to show the world their devotion to their craft and eSports. Through this detailed almost hour long video, Discovery and MSI allowed the viewers to get an in-depth understanding of the eSports ecosystem while also realizing the company’s role into this world of competitive gaming via what they do best.
