Noctua Enters AIO Market with First Liquid Cooler Prototype

Marking a significant expansion of its product portfolio, Noctua unveiled its first all-in-one (AIO) liquid CPU cooler prototype at Computex 2025. The cooler features a 360 mm radiator and is built on Asetek’s EMMA (Gen 8) V2 platform, known for its reliability and performance.

True to Noctua’s reputation, the cooler includes premium NF-A12x25 G2 fans, designed with a speed offset to eliminate periodic humming caused by beat frequencies. It also incorporates the SecuFirm2+™ mounting system, ensuring broad compatibility with both current and future CPU sockets.

A standout feature is the pump cover, engineered with a multi-layer acoustic design to minimize noise and vibration. This includes two layers of open-pore foam to absorb high-frequency sounds, a dense central foam layer to block low-frequency noise, and floating silicone inserts that isolate vibrations. Together, these components function as a tuned-mass damper (TMD), significantly reducing acoustic output.

An optional 80mm magnetic fan can be mounted atop the pump cover to enhance cooling for nearby components like VRMs, RAM, and M.2 SSDs, using the Coandă effect and rotational airflow dynamics.

Noctua plans to release the AIO coolers in 420 mm, 360 mm, and 240 mm sizes, all with standard 30 mm thick radiators. The official launch is expected in Q1 2026.
