For PC builders who have been holding off on Noctua’s latest flagship cooler because of the signature brown-and-beige color scheme, the wait is finally over. Noctua has officially released the all-black chromax.black versions of its NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler and the accompanying NF-A14x25 G2 fans.
As with previous Chromax launches, the focus here is on delivering identical performance to the standard models while offering the “stealth” aesthetic that has become a staple for modern enthusiast builds.

The Lineup
The launch covers the main G2 flagship products:
- NH-D15 G2 chromax.black: This retains the upgraded 8-heatpipe design and the offset dual-tower layout of the standard G2. It ships with two of the new round-frame 140 mm fans.
- NF-A14x25 G2 Fans: Both the square-frame (standard case fan) and round-frame (heatsink focused) versions are now available in black. These feature the same Liquid Crystal Polymer (Sterrox) impellers and 0.7 mm tip clearance as the original G2s.
Pricing and Availability
The new hardware is available starting today via Noctua’s official Amazon stores. As is typical for the black-coated editions, there is a slight premium over the standard models.
