NVIDIA has unveiled DLSS 4, the latest iteration of its Deep Learning Super Sampling technology, introducing significant advancements in AI-driven graphics rendering.

NVIDIA DLSS 4 introduces Multi Frame Generation, an AI-powered feature capable of generating up to three additional frames for every rendered frame. This innovation boosts frame rates by up to eight times compared to traditional methods, enabling smoother gameplay and groundbreaking performance, including 4K gaming at 240 frames per second with full ray tracing.

Enhanced Graphics Features

DLSS 4 enhances existing technologies like Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA, delivering superior image quality and performance. These improvements are optimized for the new GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, which utilize fifth-generation Tensor Cores to maximize efficiency and output.

DLSS 4 is compatible with the GeForce RTX 40, 30, and 20 series graphics cards. However, DLSS Multi Frame Generation is exclusively available for the latest GeForce RTX 50 series.

Broad Game Support at Launch

At launch, DLSS 4 will support 75 games and applications, including “Alan Wake 2” and “Cyberpunk 2077.” For titles awaiting updates, NVIDIA offers DLSS Override switches in its drivers and application, empowering users to enable features manually.
