NVIDIA Expands AI & DLSS 4 Support at GeForce Gamer Festival

NVIDIA celebrated a quarter-century of GeForce innovation by hosting the GeForce Gamer Festival at COEX in Seoul. The event served as a platform for major announcements in AI-powered gaming and the expansion of its latest RTX technologies, alongside live esports, exclusive giveaways, and special performances.

KRAFTON Unveils AI Co-Op Player in PUBG

The festival’s headline announcement came from KRAFTON, which showcased PUBG Ally, an AI co-playable character powered by NVIDIA ACE technology. Revealed in a new video, PUBG Ally is designed to enhance immersive gameplay by interacting alongside a human player using an on-device Small Language Model (SLM).

Players will get their first chance to team up with the AI companion during a limited-time user test in early 2026, accessible through the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Arcade. The initial test will support English, Korean, and Chinese languages.

Upcoming Titles and Festival Highlights

Attendees also got an exclusive hands-on experience with two upcoming titles from NCSOFT, both confirmed to feature day-one support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation:

  • AION 2: This next-generation MMORPG is set to launch first in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, with a global release planned for next year.
  • CINDER CITY: An open-world, cinematic tactical shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Seoul, scheduled for a 2026 release.

The event floor buzzed with activity as gamers tested GeForce NOW cloud gaming advancements, admired GeForce Garage PC mods themed around Borderlands 4, Battlefield 6, and KPop Demon Hunters, and competed for prizes. The grand prize, a GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition graphics card, was signed by NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang.

DLSS 4 Integration Expands to New and Upcoming Games

NVIDIA also confirmed a growing list of titles integrating its latest RTX technologies this week:

  • ARC Raiders: Now available, Embark Studios’ multiplayer extraction shooter uses a full suite of NVIDIA tech. DLSS 4 is stated to boost performance by an average of 3.6x at 4K with max settings and ray tracing enabled. NVIDIA Reflex reduces system latency by up to 59%, while NVIDIA RTXGI delivers more realistic ray-traced lighting.
  • Battlefield 6 Season 1 & REDSEC: EA and Battlefield Studios have launched Battlefield REDSEC, a new free-to-play experience featuring a Battle Royale mode and a squad-based competitive mode called Gauntlet. Both REDSEC and the new Battlefield 6 Season 1 content will feature DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.
  • Duet Night Abyss: This recently launched hybrid action-RPG from Pan Studio supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, and DLSS Super Resolution to accelerate performance for GeForce RTX gamers.
  • Directive 8020: Launching in 2026, this cinematic sci-fi horror adventure from Supermassive Games will leverage DLSS 4 to maximize performance and image quality, enabling immersive, path-traced lighting enhanced by DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
