Pearl Abyss has launched a significant update for Black Desert Mobile, headlined by the release of an official PC launcher, the debut of the “O’dyllita” server, and a complete overhaul of the fishing system.
This update aims to improve accessibility for all players while modernizing core gameplay mechanics.
Official PC Launcher
The new dedicated PC launcher allows for a more flexible desktop experience with improved stability and keyboard-and-mouse support. Players can run up to two instances simultaneously and utilize a “Graphics Remaster” mode for enhanced visuals on larger screens. The launcher is available for download via the game’s official website.
O’dyllita Server
The O’dyllita server provides a fresh starting point specifically designed to help new and returning players progress quickly. It features various growth benefits intended to foster an active community through shared milestones and social interaction.
Fishing Remaster
The fishing system now includes a “size” attribute for fish, adding a competitive layer to the collection process. Key additions include:
- Golden Fishing Spots: These locations offer rare rewards, including Chaos-grade Legendary Fish and Mud-Covered Bottles.
- Ranking System: Players can now compete based on the size of their catches.
- Revamped Delivery: The Fish Delivery system has been updated, with delivery prices now set at 1,000 times the standard shop price.
Celebratory Events
Several in-game events are currently live to mark the update:
- O’dyllita Exclusives: A competitive Sports Festival and doubled Progression Log rewards are available for those on the new server.
- Guild and Referral Rewards: Players can earn double rewards for guild activities and Siege/Node War victories, while a referral system provides bonuses based on Combat Power milestones.
- April Fools’ Specials: Limited-time events allow players to enter special zones using “Internet Café Coupons” to hunt for rare seasonal loot.
