South Korean esports gear maker Pulsar and Austrian cooling specialist Noctua have released the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition, a version of Pulsar’s F01 mouse with a Noctua NF-A4x10 40 mm fan built right into the shell.
Why put a fan in a mouse?
Sweaty palms are a real problem during intense gaming sessions, and a slippery grip can cost the match. Pulsar’s answer is active ventilation via a highly perforated carbon-composite exoskeleton that makes the F01 Noctua Edition sturdy and lightweight at 73 g total, while also letting the built-in NF-A4x10 fan blow a steady stream of air onto your palm.
You can control the fan through the mouse’s button-and-wheel combo, a button on the dongle, or the web-based driver, cycling between four speed levels or switching it off entirely.
Specs beyond the fan
Cooling aside, this is still a serious competitive mouse. It runs on Pulsar’s premium XS-2 sensor, hitting an 8,000 Hz polling rate, 42,000 DPI, and 800 IPS tracking, with optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks. It can be used wirelessly via the included 8K dongle or wired through USB-C port.
Noctua CEO Roland Mossig said the idea came from Pulsar, and that reactions to the first prototype at Computex 2025 were strong enough that Noctua immediately started development, running tests to make sure the fan could survive the g-forces of fast mouse movements.

The Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition carries a suggested retail price of EUR 199.90 / USD 179.95, and is available now through Pulsar’s online store and authorized resellers.
