MGA 2016 Championship By MSI
This year MSI MGA 2016 is teaming up with Blizzard Entertainment’s new team-based first-person shooter, Overwatch® featuring a diverse cast of 22 extraordinary unique heroes teaming up and working together to complete critical objectives in a variety of unique play modes, including Assault, Escort, and Control. Players are able to swap heroes to adapt to the ever-changing situation on the battlefield—the action is fast and fun, and the tactical possibilities are endless. We will be seeing out amazing teams from all around the world to use these extraordinary characters to team up and work together to complete objectives and achieve victory!
MSI MGA 2016 will start its online registration from September 5 – 27th, 2016 for a 3 regions (Americas, Europe & Asia). Players can visit https://www.msi.com/event/mga/ to register as MGA 2016 first Regional Online Qualifiers will start from October 4 – 11th. Top 8 teams from each Regional Online Qualifiers will then compete at the Regional Finals from October 14 – 21st. One winning team from each region and one MSI sponsored team will be competing at the Grand Final on December 7 – 8th at Gfinity Arena, London, United Kingdom where the best teams from the 3 regions will compete over a US$75,000 in cash prizes and travel support. The winning team from the Grand Finals will win a US$40,000 grand prize, US$20,000 for the second place team, US$10,000 for the third place team and US$5,000 for the fourth place team. It’s the first time ever for the Grand Finals to set foot in the United Kingdom.
MSI will lead gamers and fans internationally into a brand-new gaming era by presenting unprecedented, adrenaline-pumping tournaments as well as interactive product showcase and a variety of fun activities on the site. The Grand Finals feature top teams from around the globe and will be an eagerly-awaited event that draws hundreds of thousands to watch live or online as MSI will be broadcasting live for Regional Finals & Grand Finals on MSI Official Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/msigamingameu/profile.
