SAPPHIRE, an AMD exclusive add-in board partner debuted the Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Special Edition.

At its heart is the 6900 XT GPU with 5120 stream processors, 80 Ray Tracing accelerators, and 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Compared to the standard NITRO+ card, the Special Edition comes with 2365MHz boost clock, pushing the limit of what air cooled graphics could do.

Speaking, the Tri-X cooling solution on this card has a triple fan setup with a revamped heatsink design to ensure optimal airflow lifting heat off the GPU core and the VRAM efficiently. There is also an extra 6-pin power connector that provides an additional 75W of power for maximum stability.

Compared to the standard edition, the front area has been updated with a dash of Black and White to signify that it is indeed the Special Edition card. That’s on top of the RGB lighting located all over – without making it look complicated.
