Thermaltake, a leading PC DIY premium brand proactively participates in the memory market by announcing Two brand new premium memory products: the TOUGHRAM RGB and TOUGHRAM DDR4 memory kits.

High performance gaming

Along side the innovative WaterRam RGB Liquid Cooling Memory kit, Thermaltake has expanded its lineup with the TOUGHRAM clocking in at a maximum speed of 3600MHz. According to Thermaltake, the TOUGHRAM RGB and TOUGHRAM DDR4 Memory lineup are aimed at high performance gaming and overclocking crowd.

Specification wise, the TOUGHRAM RGB series has frequency ranges of 3000MHz, 3200MHz and 3600MHz respectively. The non-ARGB TOUGHRAM memory series on the other hand has frequency ranges from 2400MHz to 3000MHz. That’s all we know so far.

Syncronization and design

According to Thermaltake, the RGB lighting effects designed for the TOUGHRAM RGB are compatible with the TT AI Voice Control, Amazon Alexa and even Razer Chroma.

The TOUGHRAM RGB memory is designed with performance in mind so Thermaltake decided to go with a 10-layer PCB design. Lighting circuitry is specifically designed as well to ensure no performance impact, while the XMP 2.0 supports keeps the memory at its rated speed with just a single setting. These two memory series are supported by the TT Premium heat-spreader design, combined with tightly screened memory ICs that should ensure outstanding cooling and performance.

No cables required

When connected to user’s PC via standard DDR4 DIMM slots, the TOUGHRAM RGB doesn’t require any additional cables or connectors to provide full lighting control from within the TT RGB MEMORY Software.
