The ZOTAC NEN is a simple looking no-frills Steam Machine, with a single PCB design accommodating both the CPU and the GPU. ZOTAC said that the NEN is whisper quiet and cool which should be the end-product of Two radial fans with good amount of heatsink cooling the CPU and GPU individually.
Additionally, Valve’s SteamOS is pre-installed inside the 1TB HDD, and that said, ZOTAC’s making sure that all of the components are SteamOS compatible. But, do note that not all Steam games are SteamOS compatible. You could install another OS if you like, and the onboard M.2 SATA SSD slot might be the trick. The NEN is powered by an external power brick, with a single Steam Controller (Supports up to 4) included.
