Pearl Abyss has officially announced that Black Desert Console will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on June 26, 2025. This milestone comes as the game celebrates five years of crossplay, and existing players can upgrade to the new version for free, with a seamless data transfer process.
Next-Gen Exclusive Experience
Following the launch, Black Desert Console will become exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as support for previous-generation consoles will be discontinued. This decision is driven by hardware limitations that have restricted the latest content updates. By shifting to next-gen hardware, Pearl Abyss aims to enhance stability, boost performance, and bring content parity across all platforms.
