COLORFUL Launches Rimbook L1 Plus Laptop

COLORFUL has introduced the Rimbook L1 Plus, a 16-inch laptop built around AMD’s Ryzen 7 7735HS processor. The company positions it for students, professionals, and creators who need a portable machine that can still handle multitasking and content work.

Specs and performance

The Rimbook L1 Plus runs on the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, an 8-core, 16-thread chip that boosts up to 4.75 GHz, paired with integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics. It ships with 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory and a 512 GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. Storage can be expanded further through two additional PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 slots.

Battery capacity sits at 65 Wh, and the laptop charges via 65 W USB Type-C Power Delivery, so you can skip carrying a proprietary brick. The whole unit weighs 1.4 kg and measures 16.65 mm thick, with a matte metal top cover.

Display

The laptop uses a 16-inch IPS panel at 2560 x 1600 resolution (2.5K) in a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives more vertical space than a typical 16:9 screen. Bezels are thin, 4 mm on the sides and 3 mm on top, working out to a 92.52% screen-to-body ratio. The panel runs at 120 Hz, covers 100% sRGB, and hits 300 nits brightness, specs aimed at users doing photo or video editing where color accuracy matters.

Software

WPS Office comes pre-installed, giving buyers document, spreadsheet, and presentation tools without needing to install anything separately. The laptop runs Windows 11 Home out of the box.

The Rimbook L1 Plus comes in Silver with an MSRP of 5,999 RMB (roughly PHP 47,000 at current exchange rates) in China. COLORFUL has not announced local pricing or availability for the Philippine market yet.
