G.SKILL CAMM2 Demonstrates DDR5-10000 Overclock Speed

G.SKILL, in collaboration with the ASUS ROG team, announced a notable achievement in memory overclocking. They successfully demonstrated a DDR5-10000 memory speed using the new CAMM2 form factor.

This significant milestone was achieved with a 64 GB capacity CAMM2 module. The testing was conducted on a modified custom ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero CAMM2 motherboard, paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K desktop processor.

The objective of this collaboration was to explore and push the overclocking potential of the emerging DDR5 CAMM2 memory standard. The DDR5-10000 speed was validated as “Memtest-stable,” indicating its reliability during the testing phase. Specifically, the G.SKILL 64 GB CAMM2 module was overclocked to DDR5-10000 with CL52 timings, and it successfully completed 100% coverage on Memtest. This demonstrates early stability at exceptionally high speeds for this new memory technology.

This development marks an important step in understanding the performance capabilities of CAMM2, a form factor that is anticipated to play a role in future hardware platforms. G.SKILL and ASUS’s ongoing efforts aim to enable and support high-speed overclock memory specifications as this technology matures.
