According to the latest rankings by TrendForce, Kingston claimed an impressive 68.8% share of the market in 2023, maintaining its dominance for the 21st consecutive year.

Despite a challenging year for the DRAM module industry, which saw a 28% year-over-year revenue decline, Kingston demonstrated remarkable resilience. The decline, attributed to inventory corrections in the consumer electronics market following the pandemic and high utilization rates among DRAM suppliers, led to significant price drops. However, the market showed signs of recovery in the latter half of 2023.
TrendForce’s report noted that the world’s top ten memory module manufacturers accounted for 93% of total sales, with Kingston’s robust infrastructure and expansive regional market strategy helping to mitigate the downturn. While the broader industry faced challenges, Kingston’s scale and strategic positioning ensured its continued dominance.
