Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest entry in its “Fan Edition” lineup that brings flagship-level features to a more accessible price point. It’s the first Galaxy S26 series device to ship with One UI 9 out of the box.
Camera and AI features
The Galaxy S26 FE runs a triple rear camera setup: a 50 MP wide sensor with OIS, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. The front camera gets bumped to 12 MP.
New this generation is My FanCam, a feature carried over from Samsung’s latest foldables that automatically tracks and reframes a selected subject in video, aimed at cutting down on manual editing for social content. Video capture also gets Super Steady with Horizontal Lock for smoother handheld footage.
On the AI side, Photo Assist lets users edit photos using text prompts, with a visible watermark added to any AI-generated output. Gemini Omni, which requires a Google AI Pro subscription (Samsung is bundling a 6-month trial), can generate short edited video clips from a user’s Gallery. Now Brief adds customizable briefing cards for things like weather and wellness, while Now Nudge now surfaces suggestions across more third-party apps. Circle to Search with Google can now identify multiple items in a single image.
Display, battery, and specs
The phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness. It’s powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 (3 nm) chip.
Battery is rated at 4,900 mAh, paired with 45 W wired charging (adapter sold separately) that Samsung says gets the phone to 69% in about 30 minutes. It also supports 15 W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.
Other specs include IP68 water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and Android 17 with One UI 9 on top. Samsung is committing to seven years of OS upgrades and security updates for the device.

Pricing and availability
The Galaxy S26 FE is available now at Samsung Experience Stores, with Samsung.com listings following on September 11. It comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.

Samsung is also running introductory discounts until November 30: ₱7,000 off the 512 GB model, ₱5,000 off the 256 GB model, and ₱4,000 off the 128 GB model. Buyers can also get up to 15% off for up to 36 months through select bank installment partners, plus up to ₱6,000 in trade-in savings.
