Out of the many notebooks and laptops shown at GIGABYTE’s suite during our stay at COMPUTEX 2023, the Aero 16 OLED is low-key our favorite.

The AERO 16 OLED is designed for professionals, designers and creators. It features a 16:10 thin-bezel 4K+ OLED screen that has been certified with X-Rite 2.0 color calibration and is Pantone validated out of the factory.

The AERO 16 is only 1.9 kg and 18 mm thin – 4mm less than the previous generation – which is pretty neat considering its class. The frame (inside and out) are made out of aluminum ingots, CNC milled to spec for this particular Aero laptop. This is one of those things that you have to see and feel for yourself. No flex, no give – just absolutely awesome craftsmanship.

Performance wise, we are looking at a laptop with an Intel Core i9 inside paired with an RTX 40 series laptop GPU. More than enough for the most demanding task that you should expect as a creator.

Finally, the Aero 16 OLED comes with plenty of ports – though some are somewhat peculiar in terms of placement. The Thunderbolt and 86 W PD capable Type-C port for example, are located at the right which is not ideal (personally speaking) but doable. Regardless, if you find it obtrusive, the DC charging port at the back should your go to solution. It also charges the battery at 50% level under 30 minutes.
