MSI showcased concept CPU coolers at COMPUTEX 2016, and today the company is excited to announce the first one out of the bunch – the Core Frozr L. This is the L version, which is not the largest one we’ve seen so far at MSI’s booth while we’re poking around their stuffs at Taiwan.
The MSI Core Frozr L is a tower cooler, featuring a swap-able face plate in Silver and Black with a matching MSI Gaming logo. This is the cooler’s main feature, and it suits MSI’s motherboards really well.
The cooler stands tall at 155mm with the cover, and 138mm without it. There are also four U-shaped heat-pipes helping the dense array of heat sinks to dissipate a maximum of 200W of heat from the CPU.
The Core Frozr L is able to mount dual 120mm fans, and comes with its own Twin Frozr inspired 120mm fans dubbed as the TORX Fans. The cooler is compatible with the latest CPU sockets / mounts and is also future proof with support for the upcoming AMD AM4 mount for the Zen CPUs.
