Nvidia drops several title support announcements at Gamescom 2017, spearheaded by the technical details of Nvidia’s partnership with Square Enix for the Final Fantasy XV PC.

The PC version will support two GeForce Experience features; Ansel and ShadowPlay Highlights. It will also be loaded with GameWorks technology, including the NVIDIA Flow, HairWorks, ShadowWorks, Turf Effects and NVIDIA VXAO.

“Our goal is to help game developers deliver jaw-dropping gaming experiences by pushing the state of the art in graphics and physics technologies.” –  Rev Lebaredian, NVIDIA’s senior vice president of GameWorks.

Square Enix’s next-gen Luminous Engine is already an excellent game engine on its own. With Nvidia paving the way for an optimized PC release of the critically acclaimed game, we are quite excited to see the technical superiority and improvements of the game’s Windows Edition over the console counterpart.

“With the help of NVIDIA, we are creating a stunning visual experience in FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION, one worthy of this beloved franchise,” said Hajime Tabata. “NVIDIA pushes the pace of innovation in our industry, and that benefits gamers and developers alike.”

In line with this announcement, future Square Enix titles utilizing the Luminous Engine could also receive timely PC releases. That is ofcourse if the title wont get a lock down as a console exclusive. With a game already slated for release this 2018, future titles from the veteran company should have minimal difficulties being ported.
