Having the best possible quality for a game at launch is important, and it becomes even more important in VR titles. Gameplay issues or bugs can break immersion and ruin a VR experience.

NVIDIA’s long-running Game Ready driver program delivers the best possible experience by optimizing performance and latency, which is especially important for smooth, stutter-free Virtual Reality gameplay. Today’s Game Ready Driver will provide the best VR experience for Project Cars 2, and  EVE Valkyrie: Warzone, which both support traditional and VR gameplay, as well as the From Other Suns open beta.

Game Ready on Launch Day for PC Games

Available on or before launch day, NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers provide the best experience for GeForce gamers in these titles because NVIDIA engineers work up until the last possible minute to optimize performance and perfect gameplay.

And as an additional verification of quality, every Game Ready Driver is WHQL-certified by Microsoft.

This Game Ready Driver provides the optimal gaming experience for Project Cars 2, Call of Duty: WWII open beta, Total War: WARHAMMER II, Forza Motorsport 7, EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone, FIFA 18, Raiders of the Broken Planet, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 open beta.

Raiders of the Broken Planet and Paragon gets Highlights

Another important aspect of NVIDIA Game Ready drivers is that at they are often used as a delivery mechanism to add new features for our GeForce users.

This Game Ready driver adds support for NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights and NVIDIA Ansel in the new game Raiders of the Broken Planet.

Paragon players can now use ShadowPlay Highlights, too.

EVE Valkyrie: Warzone gets MRS in the Desktop Version

EVE Valkyrie: Warzone supports Multi-Res Shading (MRS) from the NVIDIA VRWorks SDK in both the desktop and VR version of the game. MRS is an innovative new rendering technique for VR whereby each part of an image is rendered at a resolution that better matches the pixel density of the warped image.

Multi-Res Shading uses a multi-projection architecture to render multiple scaled viewports in a single pass, delivering substantial performance improvements. EVE Valkyrie: Warzone is only the second game to support MRS on the desktop, improving performance by up to 51%.

Game Ready to Play Call of Duty: WWII BETA

You only get one chance to make a first impression, and games are no exception. NVIDIA works hard to make every game’s first impression a good one, even if the game is still in development. With that in mind, today’s Game Ready Driver includes support for the open beta of Call of Duty: WWII.  Game Ready drivers aim to support all major milestones for games meaning we’re always working to bring you the best experience every time you game.
