TEAMGROUP went a bit crazy with their SSD coolers at COMPUTEX this 2023 all for their latest PCIe Gen 5 SSDs.
DARK Airflow Series
The T-FORCE DARK AirFlow is a series of SSD coolers tailor-made for TEAMGROUP’s PCIe Gen 5 SSDs in M.2 2280 format. First up on the list is the progenitor – the DARK AirFlow I itself. This is an active SSD cooler with two copper heat-pipes along with what appears to be a single 40 mm fan.
The second iteration, DARK AirFlow II, features a radially mounted heat-sink with a 40 mm caseless fan. I was told it could go up to 8500 RPM but there’s no mention of its heat-dissipation capabilities or noise.
Finally we get to see the DARK Airflow III. This is the latest in the line-up featuring a thicker alloy along with yet another 40 mm fan. It is machined from a single piece of aluminum and doesn’t come with heat-pipes compared to the other designs.
SIREN GD120S
Now we also have the SIREN GD120S which is an SSD only cooling solution. This is their most powerful yet – overkill even, compared to lets say the SIREN DUO360 which is an SSD and CPU cooler hybrid.
