Biwin has expanded its Black Opal Series with new memory and storage products. The new releases include the Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 192 GB Memory Kit and the Black Opal X570 and X570 PRO Gen5 SSDs.
Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 Memory
Shown at COMPUTEX, the Biwin DW100 is a DDR5 memory kit with a total capacity of 192 GB, configured as four 48 GB modules. It operates at a speed of 6000 MT/s with a CL28 latency. The kit is optimized for AMD EXPO and has been validated for use with motherboards from manufacturers including MSI, Gigabyte, and ASUS.
The modules are built with a 10-layer PCB and feature an unlocked PMIC for voltage regulation. An enhanced thermal pad is included for heat dissipation.
Black Opal X570 PRO and X570 SSDs
The Biwin X570 PRO and X570 are PCIe Gen5 solid-state drives. The X570 PRO utilizes a PCIe Gen5x4 interface and supports the NVMe 2.0 protocol. It offers sequential read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 13,000 MB/s. The drive is equipped with a 6 nm controller, up to 8 NAND channels, and includes up to 4 GB of DRAM cache, achieving random read speeds of 2,000K IOPS.
The Biwin X570 is also a PCIe Gen5 x4 drive. It provides sequential read and write speeds of up to 14,500 MB/s and 11,000 MB/s, respectively. This model features a DRAM-less design that uses Host Memory Buffer (HMB) and dynamic SLC caching. It has a single-sided design for thermal management.
