Officially back in stock, expect better prices soon

AMD and Nvidia officially announced that stocks of their GPUs are now back to normal. Prices have yet to reflect though, but they are slowly stabilizing as time goes by.

We expect that prices should be now stabilizing and we anticipate continuing to see greater availability for all Radeon RX Series GPUs in the weeks ahead. – AMD

AMD is the first to announce the good news, while Nvidia followed suit – with a promotion attached for kicks. Regardless, the announcement from both companies should allow gamers to confidently buy a brand spanking new card in the near future, instead of relying on second hand ones – especially from those who are selling high end cards used for mining crypto-currencies 24/7.

Now that we have great availability for GeForce GTX GPUs across retailers and at prices gamers can afford, there’s never been a better time to become a GeForce Gamer and ‘Join the Crew’. – Nvidia

Local retailers have yet to follow suit as far as pricing goes, but we are expecting them to lower the RP soon – especially with the next generation cards looming around the horizon.

The price hike hits sky high by the first quarter of the year. By April, the prices have started to decline slowly. This is also synonymous to the recent trends in the crypto-currency space.
