HyperX®, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, has announced its sponsorship of the Dallas Mavericks and the upcoming Dallas NBA 2K League team.
With the NBA 2K draft and inaugural season set to start in the spring of 2018, HyperX will collaborate with the Mavericks to create a series of interactive activities, bringing the energetic HyperX spirit from the American Airlines Center to basketball fans worldwide.
The Dallas 2K League team will reveal its identity alongside other NBA 2K teams later this winter. As they prepare to compete at the highest level, the team will use HyperX gaming headsets, including the latest Cloud Alpha model, for both practice and gameplay. These headsets, known for their comfort and superior sound quality, will also enhance the team’s enjoyment of music and movies during downtime.
Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas NBA 2K League team, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We see the NBA 2K League as a fantastic entertainment opportunity, and HyperX is a key partner in our strategy to build a competitive team. HyperX’s extensive experience in the gaming community makes them an invaluable ally both on and off the court during esports tournaments and events.”
HyperX also shared their excitement about the collaboration: “We are thrilled to partner with the Dallas Mavericks and their esports team. Our tagline, ‘We’re All Gamers,’ reflects our commitment to the gaming community. By welcoming the Mavericks into our family of NBA influencers, we are expanding our support for gamers everywhere. Whether you are a gamer or a professional athlete, you are part of the HyperX family.”
