Thermaltake and Watermod France Design Collaboration
Taipei, Taiwan－May 31st, 2016－Thermaltake, a leading brand in the Case MOD market, chassis, power supply units, and thermal solutions, today officially unveiled the completed prototype of Project The Tower at the COMPUTEX opening ceremony. Project The Tower is a casemod collaboration between Thermaltake and original creator Mathieu Heredia and co-owner of WaterMOD France. Mathieu Heredia who is also the runner-up in the 2015 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2, was invited to give a speech on the collaboration.
“Every time I mod, I try to do something different from my other friends and modders. When I was invited to the Thermaltake’s CaseMOD competition, I completely rethought the Core X9. I wanted to build fully functional case with a unique design, and in the end I created Project The Tower. I was surprised when Thermaltake recognized the spirit of this project, and was even more shocked when they decided to mass produce it. Thank you Thermaltake for making my dreams come true. I hope that this design collaboration will be a great success!” expressed Mathieu Heredia.
Project The Tower and the Core Series have a similar product value, of creating a practical yet extraordinary chassis. Embracing the Casemod movement and Mathieu’s modding spirit, Thermaltake is determined to turn Project The Tower from a concept to a commodity where everyone can enjoy. This collaboration sets a new milestone for Thermaltake.
Commenting on the joint project, Kenny Lin, President and CEO of Thermaltake said, “At Thermaltake, we have positioned ourselves as a key player in the Casemod market. We are always on the lookout for modding enthusiasts whose spirit is consistent with our company values.
