Suited for devices that require extensive read/write under harsh environmental conditions, the cards not only operate effectively from -40°C to 85°C but also are built in with ECC and S.M.A.R.T. functions to ensure reliable data transfer and self-monitoring capability. Transcend’s memory cards are manufactured using high-quality flash chips and undergo extensive reliability testing at all stages of production.

Exceptional Endurance and Reliability

Transcend’s SLC mode solution features excellent endurance and reliability at cost-effective prices. Manufactured with high-quality 3D NAND flash chips and SLC mode, Transcend USD230I memory cards provided exceptional endurance and reliability for small form factor and write-intensive applications such as transportation systems, GPS systems, in-vehicle advertising & entertainment, set-top boxes, POS kiosks and registers, gaming platform, portable vehicle navigation systems, and handheld RFID readers.

High Speed and Wide Temp Durability

Compliant with SD Specification Version 3.01 and with the top-of-the-line Class 10 speed rating (only microSDHC supported), Transcend USD230I memory cards provide high transfer rates of up to 22MB per second. In order to meet the industrial demands of intensive programming under harsh environmental conditions, the cards are not only shock resistance but also offering a wide flexibility of operating temperature between -40°C and 85°C to greatly increase the durability.

Value-added Technologies

Transcend USD230I memory cards feature multiple built-in technologies for optimum protection, including Error Correction Code (ECC) that helps detect and correct potential transfer errors, and Wear Leveling to select the block with the lowest erase count for the next write. The cards are RoHS compliant and support S.M.A.R.T. function to efficiently monitor the health conditions of the cards, power failure protection to timely protect cards from damage in the event of abrupt power failure.

Transcend’s USD230I wide temperature memory cards are available in 2GB and 4GB capacities, and are backed by Transcend’s Three-year Limited Warranty. Transcend microSDXC/SDHC 420T memory cards with endurance rating of 3K P/E cycles (Program/Erase cycles) are another option for write-intensive applications. All Transcend industrial memory cards undergo extensive testing to assure the utmost level of quality.
