ViewSonic just announced the VX57 family of affordable AMD FreeSync Displays, continuing the legacy of the gaming monitors of ViewSonic – conforming to the standards of today’s gamers with budget as a serious consideration.
The VX57 Series uses a TN Panel, and thus keeping response time in check at 1ms for all the available models. VESA Adaptive-Sync technology and AMD FreeSync™ technology is very much supported across all the models which is a heaven sent for those who are looking forward to take advantage of AMD’s tear-free gaming technology. Models announced are the 21.5″ VX2257-MHD, 23.6″ VX2457-MHD, and the 27″ VX2757-MHD.
All models shares the same frequency values of 24 ~84 kHz Fh with effective 47 ~75 Hz vertical refresh rate according to ViewSonic. We calculated this and got values around 21-74 Hz which should give you enough information what variable refresh rate ranges these FreeSync enabled displays could offer. We are still getting in touch about the pricing, and expect affordability especially for the lower end models once we got their local MSRP. To learn more, read the full PR below, or visit this link.
