One of the most amazing encounters I had at COMPUTEX was the moment when I witnessed the XPG FUSION 1600 TITANIUM powering up not one, not two, but four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards at COMPUTEX 2023.

I wasn’t even convinced yet 100% that it is doable mainly due to the fact that they teased it like it was nothing out of the ordinary. When I finally saw it with my own eyes, that’s when it hit me.

You see based on specifications, the XPG FUSION 1600 TITANIUM comes with a maximum of 1600 W of power at its disposal. An RTX 4090 consumes about 450 W at its maximum load (excluding peaks) so by my calculations, that amounts to 1800 W. The FUSION 1600 TITANIUM could actually handle that load which is a 12.5% increase from the factory specifications.

From my understanding, the team at ADATA XPG were also stressing an unknown CPU along with the quad RTX 4090 during the demo. Looking closer, they might be actually running a single RTX 4090 with Furmark while the three others were running the OctaneBench benchmark. That could explain the CPU wattage (RTX 4090 with Furmark) and GPU wattage (3x RTX 4090 with OctaneBench). Correct me if I am wrong especially those who’ve worked with Cybenetics and their Powenetics kits.

Anyway, a feat is a feat and to make things even more exciting, ADATA XPG had the FUSION bundled with a cool software. Dubbed as the XPG PRIME ecosystem management software, this enables you to check the DC output, AC input, efficiency and temperature of the power supply. You may also check each rail’s reported output current and voltage.

Pricing and Availability

The XPG FUSION 1600 TITANIUM is already out in the market with an MSRP of $750 USD but I was told it already has a street price of around $599 USD. A price anyone with an RTX 4090 could pay – more easily so with four at hand.
