Along with the Radeon RX 7800 XT, AMD also unveiled the RX 7700 XT at Gamescom 2023. This is a $449 USD graphics card, featuring a 12 GB VRAM.
The RX 7700 XT is not that far off from the RX 7800 XT in terms of its specifications. It has 54 CUs, 54 RT and 108 AI accelerators under its RDNA 3 silicon. That’s just 6 CUs, 6 RT and 12 AI accelerators less. Major differences lies at the memory capacity, interface and speed. Infinity cache is also at 48 MB which is 16 MB lower. TBP is at 245 W, which is just 18 W lower compared to the RX 7800 XT.
As far as performance goes, the RX 7700 XT obliterates the RTX 4060 Ti at AMD’s internal benchmarks. Said benchmarks consists of 19 titles tested and majority of them favors the soon to be released card with up to 31% performance gain at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Pricing and Availability
The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT is slated for release this September 6, 2023 while the price is again, set at $449 USD.
