“NVIDIA closely collaborates with technology providers like HP and with ISVs, so professionals can enjoy outstanding performance with CAD and DCC applications,” said Sandeep Gupte, senior director of the Professional Solutions Group at NVIDIA. “With NVIDIA Quadro, professionals have a choice that is stable, reliable and affordable – that’s why it powers a vast range of consumer product design.”

According to Max Tan, business development manager, Workstations, HP Asia-Pacific & Japan, the HP Z1 Workstation signals a new direction in revolutionary chassis design. “Many customers are upgrading from older platforms to newer workstations as professional workstation-class applications evolve. The HP Z1 Workstation is designed to meet the demands of computer-aided design as well as entry-level digital media and entertainment professionals; and the Z820 is engineered for the most demanding and compute-intensive visualization needs but with tool-free serviceability,” he said.

Tan added that the HP Z1 and Z820 are good examples of how HP is investing in technology that enables customers to push the limits of innovation. He said: “Besides the all-in-one form factor, rack-mount and mobile designs are areas HP focuses on to cater to increasing remote worksites and smaller workspaces, as well as growing needs of a mobile workforce. At the same time, HP continues to work on increasing speed and performance with partners like NVIDIA.”
