TEAMGROUP has announced the release of the T-CREATE EXPERT P35S, a portable solid-state drive designed for handling highly sensitive information.
Marketed as the world’s first external SSD with built-in data destruction functionality, the device allows users to physically render data irretrievable in emergency situations.
Physical Destruction Mechanism
Unlike standard software formatting, the P35S uses a dedicated circuit to perform physical destruction of the internal NAND flash chips.
- The Mechanism: A patented “one-click data destruction circuit” physically destroys the storage component to ensure zero data residue.
- Safety Features: To prevent accidental triggering, the device utilizes a two-stage safety push-button design with a red visual warning and a dual-damping structural mechanism.
- Result: Once activated, the process is irreversible, and the data cannot be recovered.

Important Warranty Note
The T-CREATE EXPERT P35S comes with a standard one-year warranty for normal operation. However, TEAMGROUP notes that activating the one-click data destruction function immediately voids the warranty, as it renders the device permanently inoperable.
