The annual Acer Day 2024, themed “AI’m Limitless,” was a grand celebration that combined music and technology, reflecting the core values and innovative spirit of Acer. The event, held at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 4, attracted over 20,000 attendees, both on-site and online via Facebook livestream, creating a vibrant atmosphere of excitement and inspiration.
This year’s theme, “AI’m Limitless,” was designed to motivate individuals to push beyond boundaries and explore new experiences with Acer’s cutting-edge PCs and lifestyle products. The celebration served as a platform for Acer to showcase its latest technological innovations, all aimed at enhancing user experiences and unlocking untapped potential.
The highlight of the event was the highly anticipated Acer Day 2024 concert, featuring a star-studded lineup of performers. Acer ambassadors SB19, Sandara Park, and G22 took center stage alongside celebrated artists Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, and Rico Blanco. The concert was hosted by the dynamic Luis Manzano, who kept the energy high throughout the evening.
The concert opened with a performance by pop/alternative band Cup of Joe, who set the tone with their hits “Wag na Lang,” “Tingin,” and “Estranghero.” Singer-songwriter TJ Monterde followed, captivating the audience with his soulful renditions of “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Palagi.”
Multi-awarded OPM icon Ebe Dancel delivered a powerful set, featuring fan favorites such as “Hari ng Sablay,” “Makita Kang Muli,” “Wag Kang Umiyak,” and “Bawat Daan.” Dancel shared a heartfelt moment, recalling how Acer supported artists like himself during the pandemic by organizing intimate performances for the company’s executives and employees.
OPM rockstar Rico Blanco continued to electrify the crowd with his hits “Antukin,” “Umaaraw Umuulan,” “Your Universe,” “Kisapmata,” and “You’ll be Safe Here.” The energy peaked with the arrival of international superstar Sandara Park and the P-pop group G22, who delivered a show-stopping performance of “In or Out.” Sandara and SB19 then teamed up for “Reset,” a song they collaborated on for Acer in 2023.
G22, known as the “Female Alphas of P-pop,” showcased their powerful presence with performances of “Boomerang,” “Bang,” “One Sided Love,” and “Loka.” Sandara Park kept the crowd energized with a medley of 2NE1 hits, including “Dara Dara,” “I Don’t Care,” and “I’m the Best+Can’t Nobody.”
SB19, hailed as the “Kings of P-pop,” closed the show with a dynamic set featuring “Gento,” “Hanggang sa Huli,” and “Crimzone.” They also surprised fans with an unreleased track titled “Kalakal,” featuring rapper Gloc 9.
The concert culminated in a powerful performance of “Limitless,” the theme song of Acer Day 2024, composed by SB19 leader Pablo. The song, performed by SB19 and G22, encapsulated the spirit of the event, proving that both the artists and Acer are truly limitless in their potential.
