GIGABYTE had just unveiled the new addition to its STEALTH ICE Series, featuring AMD X870 and B850 chipset motherboards. Debuted at COMPUTEX, this new series expands upon GIGABYTE’s Project STEALTH initiative, which first introduced reverse-connector motherboards in 2022.
The X870 AORUS STEALTH ICE supports AMD 9000, 8000, 7000 Series with a high-performance architecture designed for enthusiasts. Equipped with a robust 18+2+2 (SPS 80 A) VRM designed to power even the Ryzen 9 9950X3D with ease, delivering full performance without compromise.
The X870 and B850 AORUS STEALTH ICE motherboards deliver a powerful punch in a stunning all-white design. They’re perfect for anyone looking to create a clean, stylish PC build without compromising on performance. For a truly cohesive and high-performing system, GIGABYTE highly recommend pairing them with a matching graphics card, such as the RTX 5090 STEALTH ICE.
Another addition is the DriverBIOS function, which integrates Wi-Fi drivers directly into the BIOS. This allows for immediate wireless connectivity upon initial system boot, eliminating the need for separate driver installation. Additionally, the BIOS capacity has been expanded to 64 MB, doubling the previous size to accommodate more complex firmware and facilitate future updates.
The assembly process is further simplified with a suite of tool-free installation features: WI-FI EZ-Plug, PCIe EZ-Latch Plus, M.2 EZ-Latch Click, M.2 EZ-Latch Plus, and the EZ-Debug Zone. These elements are designed to reduce frustration and speed up the PC building process, allowing builders to assemble their systems with greater ease and efficiency.
