ASRock has announced that its entire lineup of AM5 motherboards now provides full support for the newly released AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition desktop processor. This new processor features significantly increased cache capacity, specifically targeting the performance needs of professional creators and developers.

To enable support for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, users can download the necessary BIOS updates directly from the ASRock official website. ASRock supports several update methods to simplify the process, including BIOS Flashback and Instant Flash. The company recommends that all users update to the latest version to ensure their systems achieve optimal performance and stability with the new hardware.

Validated BIOS versions for specific motherboard series include:

  • X870E and X870 Series: Most models, including the Taichi OCF, Nova WiFi, and Steel Legend, require version 4.03.
  • B850 Series: The majority of models use version 4.03, though the B850 Rock WiFi 7 requires version 1.01, and the B850M Rock WiFi utilizes 4.04.
  • 600 and A620 Series: Older AM5 boards, such as the X670E Taichi and various B650 and A620 models, are also supported via version 4.03 or 4.10, depending on the specific model.

Established in 2002 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, ASRock has grown into a global manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, and other PC components. The company operates with a focus on creativity and cost-effectiveness while maintaining eco-friendly manufacturing standards.
