ECS updates their motherboard line-up with the latest chipsets from both Intel and AMD. That includes the latest ECS Z270-LIGHTSABER which is a timely update to their Z170-LIGHTSABER that we tested earlier this year.
ECS also updates their ITX line-up with the Z270H4-1. It sports a 6 Phase Power Design (6+1), with additional support for a full size (2280) M.2 SSD at the back. There’s also a 2242 M.2 slot for the additional WiFi+BT expansion card though we are not sure if an SKU with such features will exist. This board has dual LAN too which is excellent for a gaming and multimedia streaming hybrid system.
As for AMD, ECS got you covered with the B350 chipset bearing motherboards. The B350AM4-M for example is a budget oriented AM4 motherboard with full support for the B350 chipset features.
ECS also had the BSWI-D2 motherboard with an onboard Intel Braswell Refresh Celeron DC J3060 processor. This is more in-line with commercial and industrial usage, where basic multimedia and computing requirements are needed.
ECS also told us that a gaming AMD X370 motherboard is on its way. There’s also a possibility of an X399 platform but no information thus far has been provided. Follow us for more COMPUTEX 2017 news and announcements.
