GIGABYTE has officially taken the wraps off its latest flagship at CES 2026: the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY. This new high-end graphics card aims to redefine the enthusiast-class segment by pairing NVIDIA’s massive Blackwell architecture with a breakthrough cooling design.
WINDFORCE HYPERBURST
The centerpiece of the RTX 5090 INFINITY is the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling System. To manage the heat generated by the RTX 50 Series, GIGABYTE has moved to a separated PCB layout—a design first pioneered by NVIDIA—which allows for a “Double Flow Through” configuration.
This layout enables air to penetrate both sides of the backplate, creating a streamlined, unobstructed cooling path. Most notably, the card features an Overdrive Fan located at the center of the unit. This fan activates specifically during intense workloads, providing an extra burst of cool air to ensure the GPU’s AI computing power remains throttle-free.
