LIAN LI Unveils RS Series PSUs with Rotatable AC Inlet

LIAN LI has officially launched the RS Series, a new line of power supply units designed to solve common cable management headaches. Available in 1000 W and 1200 W variants, the RS Series introduces the world’s first rotatable AC inlet, alongside a suite of builder-friendly features like dual-side motherboard connections and a magnetic USB hub.

Flexible Orientation

The standout feature of the RS Series is the rotatable AC inlet. In chassis where PSU clearance is tight, users can rotate the physical orientation of the PSU to better position the output ports.

To support this flexibility, LIAN LI has placed 20+4-pin motherboard outputs on both the left and right sides of the unit. This ensures that regardless of how the PSU is mounted, builders can route the main motherboard cable via the most direct path, reducing clutter and improving airflow.

The RS HUB: Solving USB Scarcity

Recognizing the increasing number of AIOs, fan controllers, and RGB accessories requiring internal USB connections, LIAN LI has introduced the RS HUB.

• Function: A detachable USB module providing four USB 2.0 headers (supports up to 8 devices).
• Mounting: It can attach directly to the PSU side panel for power and data, or be placed anywhere in the case using magnets and powered via SATA.
• Availability: Included standard with the 1200 W models and the specific 1000 W bundle; optional for the base 1000 W model.

Efficiency and Build Quality

Under the hood, the RS Series is built for high-performance reliability. It holds 80 PLUS Gold, PPLP Gold, and Cybenetics Platinum certifications, ensuring over 90% efficiency under typical loads.

The units utilize industrial-grade EPCOS capacitors and Japanese capacitors to ensure stability under heavy vibration and load. Cooling is handled by a 135 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan featuring a Zero RPM mode, keeping the unit silent during low-load operations.
