Noctua has formally released the NF-A12x25 G2 – an updated version of their original NF-A12x25 fan.
Seen at Noctua’s COMPUTEX 2025 showcase, the G2 has an updated blade design and a new motor. These changes are designed to make the fan perform better while keeping noise levels low. Noctua states that these improvements help the fan work more effectively with water cooling radiators, computer heatsinks, and as a case fan.
Available Versions
The NF-A12x25 G2 comes in three versions:
- Standard PWM: Has a maximum speed of 1800 rotations per minute (rpm).
- LS-PWM (Low-Speed): Operates at a quieter maximum of 1100 rpm.
- Sx2-PP Set: Includes two fans that have a slight speed difference (around +/- 50 rpm). This can help reduce noise when multiple fans are used together, such as in push-pull setups on radiators or side-by-side in a computer case.
