Noctua has officially introduced the long-anticipated NF-A12x25 G2, a next-generation 120 mm fan that builds upon the legacy of its award-winning predecessor. This new model features a Progressive-Bend impeller crafted from Noctua’s proprietary Sterrox® liquid-crystal polymer, offering enhanced airflow and static pressure capabilities.
The fan also incorporates a Centrifugal Turbulator in the hub area, a novel design element that optimizes airflow efficiency and reduces turbulence. According to Noctua’s internal testing, the G2 model delivers up to 3.5 °C better thermal performance on a 120×49 mm radiator under a 200 W load compared to the original NF-A12x25.
The NF-A12x25 G2 is expected to launch in June 2025, with a chromax.black version slated for Q1 2026, catering to system builders who prefer a stealthy, all-black aesthetic.
